Refacing + Countertops in Honolulu, HI Near Me

Combining cabinet refacing with new countertops lets you choose the cabinet color, door style, and counter material as one coordinated design rather than matching them piece by piece. Refacing updates the doors, drawer fronts, and veneer, while the new tops can be quartz, granite, solid surface, or laminate, each with its own look, upkeep, and price. Because both parts of the project happen in the same window, the kitchen is disrupted once instead of twice, and details like edge profile, overhang, sink cutouts, and backsplash height can be planned together. It fits when your layout already suits how you cook and you want a fresh look without construction.
Order and timing are important. Countertops are generally templated after the cabinets are stable and level, and fabrication takes time, so scheduling around lead times helps limit how long you go without a working counter. Undermount sinks and heavier stone surfaces need sturdy cabinet boxes underneath, which is another reason to assess the cabinets before committing. Removing old counters can also affect the cabinet tops and adjacent walls, so some touch-up may be needed. If you are planning to move appliances or reconfigure the layout in Honolulu, HI, this service is not the right fit and cabinet additions or a fuller remodel may be worth considering.
